Sundance announces ticket sales and locations for 2023 film festival

The Sundance Institute has announced ticket sales locations and dates for the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. The event, which runs Jan. 19-29, will be held both in person and online.

The Sundance Institute announced the ticket on-sale dates, venues and online platform for the 2023 Sundance Film Festivalscheduled for January 19-29.

Passes and packages will go on sale to the public on October 17, according to a press release. Online ticketing packages will be available on December 13 and individual tickets for the public will go on sale on January 12.

Special presale access to passes and packages for Sundance Institute members at the Storyteller and Supporter levels will launch on October 13. The Utah Locals ticket package will also be available at this time.

Sundance Circle donors will be able to purchase festival passes and packages beginning Oct. 4, and all members will be able to purchase individual tickets beginning Jan. 11.

New ticket and package offerings include the World Cinema Package, for in-person and online screenings, and the SLC Youth Pass.

The World Cinema Package offers 10 tickets to international documentary and fiction feature films on the festival’s program, while the SLC Youth Pass, for festival-goers aged 18 to 25, offers a reduced rate of $200 to discover the festival around of Salt Lake City.

As in the past, Sundance will offer its Locals package to all Utah residents. The package includes 10 tickets for in-person screenings throughout the festival and includes early access to the ticket selection before ticket sales for a single film go public.

The Sundance Institute will monitor its COVID-19 safety protocols as the health and safety of staff, performers, volunteers and the public remains the top priority, the institute said.
