Popular annual events are back at the Rangeley Lakes Region Historical Society

The International Fly Fishing Film Festival (IF4) returns on Saturday August 6th to the Lakeside Theater in Rangeley. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the movie starts at 7:30 p.m. IF4 is the world’s premier fly fishing film event and consists of films produced by professional filmmakers from all corners of the globe showcasing the passion of fly fishing. Discounted $15 advance tickets can be purchased at the Outdoor Heritage Museum in Oquossoc or online at outdoorheritagemuseum.org/events. Tickets will also be available at the door the night of the event for $20, if still available. This event benefits the Rangeley Lakes Region Historical Society and is sponsored by Oxbow Brewing Company.

During Oquossoc Day, August 13, the grounds of the outdoor heritage museum will once again be filled with vendors of arts, crafts and antiques. Visitors can browse and buy from more than 35 vendors between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The outdoor heritage museum will be open for tours and the museum gift shop will be open for browsing and shopping.

The annual Rangeley Lakes Region Historical Society fundraising auction is also back starting July 1 and will run until August 14.
