Police announce dates and locations for recruitment exams

The Nigerian Police, in conjunction with the Police Service Commission, has announced the dates and venues for its 2021 recruitment exams.

This was contained in a statement by acting NPF public relations officer Olumuyiwa Adejobi.

He noted that the exam would be held between April 20 and 22, 2022.

The statement read: “The Nigerian Police, in conjunction with the Police Services Commission, wishes to warn all applicants for the ongoing 2021 recruitment exercise for police officers, who have applied and participated in the physical selection, to check their recruitment status and print their Test on computer
examination report, if he is qualified for the next stage of the exercise.

“This slip would give them access to CBT exams scheduled between April 20-21, 2022 at designated centers in all 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory.

“The CBT exam printout will indicate specific exam dates, times and locations for each examinee within the States/FCT. Detailed and specific guidelines for each State will be announced by Police Public Relations Officers within thirty -six states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory.

“Based on this, successful candidates for the next stage can check the status of their application on https://www.policerecruitment.gov.ng accordingly.

“The Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc (+), NPM, fdc, reiterates that the recruitment exercise is absolutely free and without any pecuniary obligation.

“The IGP also assures that the process will be conducted in the best tradition of transparency and accountability. He advises applicants to beware of online imposters, scammers and other criminal elements who may want to take advantage of the recruitment process to dupe innocent applicants.

“Any complaints can be directed via 08100004507 or [email protected] The IGP warns, however, that anyone found to be deficient in this regard will be arrested and prosecuted.
