Most Silver Spring entertainment venues open with COVID-19 requirements for customers


Most of the arts and entertainment venues in downtown Silver Spring are now open to guests, as long as they follow each venue’s protocol regarding vaccinations, masking, and other requirements.

Here are examples from some of the major sites:

AFI Silver Theater requires proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 PCR test

The Fillmore Silver Spring requires attendees at all shows to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours of the event or proof of a full COVID-19 vaccination

The Black Box Theater requires proof of vaccination from guests, and

Montgomery College Cultural Arts Center requires vaccination or negative COVID-19 PCR test.

“Other places that require vaccination or proof of vaccination for eligible clients (or staff if they work with children) include the Roundhouse Education Center, Maryland Youth Ballet, Create Arts, Akhmedhova Ballet, GBYM, Arts on the Block, Clancyworks and Levine Music, ”according to a press release.

“I am truly delighted that so many entertainment venues in Silver Spring provide options for people who wish to resume their pre-pandemic activities but are reluctant to expose their families and neighbors to COVID-19,” Jacob Newman, director of the service center Silver Spring Regional. , said in the statement.
