Moet Moment Film Festival open for film submissions – Under the Line



Translating your “reason for celebration” is at the heart of the Moet Film Festival Moet. Presented by the iconic French champagne house, Moët & Chandon, the Moet Moment Film Festival (MMFF) is currently inviting filmmakers to submit a thirty to sixty second short film that captures a moment of celebration “physical, emotional, intellectual or ethereal”. This year’s esteemed Senior Judge is Billie Lourd.

Lourd has turned heads in her recent acting roles in Ryan murphy‘s Scream queens and american horror story, as well as in his portrait of Lieutenant Connix in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Imbued with Hollywood royal lineage – Heavy is the only child of CAA‘s Bryan Heavy and the end Carrie Fisher thus the goddaughter of Mery Streep – her passion for acting, filmmaking and promoting the talents of storytellers of her generation led her to become the main judge of this year’s competition FMM.

Lourd joins an esteemed panel of judges, including Sharon badal, Vice-President of Relations with Filmmakers and Short Film Programming – Tribeca Film Festival, Volaine Etienne, Founder of Serial photos, Leslie Urdang, President of Brand key images, Kisha Imani Cameron, director of talent development at Ghetto Film School, Anke hofmann, vice-president of HFPA and actress Laura Dern.
