The Day of State Symbols of Kazakhstan is marked on June 4 according to Presidential Decree No. 337 of June 4, 2007. On this day in 1992, the new state symbols of Kazakhstan were established.

International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Assault is a celebration of the United Nations that takes place on June 4 each year. It was created on August 19, 1982. The purpose of this day is to recognize the pain suffered by children around the world who are victims of physical, mental and emotional abuse.


1943 – The competition to create the first national anthem of the Kazakh SSR is announced.

1944 – Kazakh sniper Aliya Moldagulova is awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union posthumously.

1992 – Acts on the state flag, state coat of arms, and musical edition of the state anthem take place as decreed by the president.

2000 – The first resettlement of Kazakhs in their historic homeland begins to comply with the cooperation protocol between Kazakhstan and Iran in the field of labor and social affairs.

2007 – President of Chechnya Ramazan Kadyrov then awards President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev the Ahmad Kadyrov Order.

2010 – Unique lines are discovered on the territory of the Kostanay region.

2018 – Kazakh Yerasyl Murat wins the ITF G5 Series tournament in Tirana, Albania, beating opponents from Austria, Italy, Serbia and Montenegro.

2019 – The Days of Poetry, Music and Film Art of Kazakhstan take place within the framework of the Marco Polo International Art Festival on the island of Korcula.

2021 – Data files with the state flag, coat of arms, anthem, constitution and law on independence of the state of Kazakhstan of December 16, 1991 are placed in the Arctic World Archive ( AWA).
