Victorian Holidays 2021

Visit the Hagen History Center during the Victorian Holidays starting November 14. Watson-Curtze Mansion will be decorated for the holidays and open to the public Tuesday through Sunday. Christmas in the country at Port Farms

On November 26, Port Farms will open for the 2021 holiday season. This event will feature private horse-drawn carriage rides, a Santa Workshop, Santa Claus tours on weekends, live music, Christmas trees. Christmas, holiday decor and more. This event will also offer many festive activities for children and will serve delicious cocktails to guests over the age of 21. This event will take place from November 26 and will run until December 23. Erie Playhouse presents Irving Berlin’s White Christmas

Based on 1954 film starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Cloone and Vera ‐ Ellen, Irving Berlin’s White christmas tells the story of a song and dance team who put on a show at a magical Vermont inn and fall in love with a gorgeous sister in the process. Full of dancing, laughs and some of the greatest songs ever written including “Happy Holiday”, “Sisters”, “The Best Things Happen While You’re Dancing”, “Snow” and the unforgettable title track. Station Dinner Theater Presents 30th Annual Christmas Memories

Asbury Woods Winter Wonderland

The extended version of Winter Wonderland by Asbury Woods is back! The boardwalk adjacent to the Andrew J. Conner Nature Center in Asbury Woods will be lit every evening in December (except December 24 and 25) from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. so the community can enjoy a peaceful nighttime stroll on the boardwalk. . through the woods.

Holiday lights will twinkle in the woods and wetlands along the 1/3 mile promenade. Stop inside the Nature Center and view our animal display and browse holiday items for sale in the gift shop enlarged with products from local artisans. The illuminated promenade and the Nature Center will be free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted, but are not required. PI 2021 lights

Presque Isle Partnership, Penelec and their partners are preparing for Presque Isle Lights 2021 starting December 3. The annual fundraiser for Presque Isle invites visitors to take a self-guided night tour of the seasonal lights at Presque Isle State Park, starting at 6:00 PM. Donations behind the wheel are welcome at the second parking lot where the programs of the event will also be distributed. . Entrance to this event is free.

It will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour to complete the 13 mile park loop in which you will encounter the natural beauty of Presque Isle State Park after dark, illuminated areas where electricity is available, a Decorated historic lighthouse, Erie’s brilliant skyline as seen from across Presque Isle Bay, and plenty of darkness as the park spans approximately 3,200 acres, all from the comfort of your vehicle. Hot chocolate will be available for $ 2 on Fridays and Saturdays at the 4th parking lot on the bay, except December 24 and 25. Limited lights will be on during Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as our staff and volunteers will be on time off these days. Slay the Bay Tattoo Convention

Slay the Bay Tattoo Convention is a convention where tattoo artists from the city and surrounding areas come together under one roof to compete for prizes. Some award titles include “Best in Show”, “Best in Color” and “Best in Black and Gray”. There will be opportunities to be tattooed by the artists at the convention. The event also features local groups, a bar, food, vendors, Ms. Slay the Bay’s vote, merchandise, a kids’ zone and more. Kellars Modern Magic and Comedy Club presents Pete George

By 1985, Pete George had already established himself as one of Cleveland’s best guitarists, when he was called upon to join the original alternative rock band, “Separate Checks”. Releasing two original songs and a music video at the height of the MTV era, the band used their fame to kick off the petitions campaign that successfully brought the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame and Museum to Cleveland. In the 1990s, Pete’s love for entertainment led him to an acting career where he honed his skills playing in the theater and in numerous television commercials. Pete booked his first movie, The Shawshank Redemption, where he worked alongside Hollywood heavyweights Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins. Pete then set off on the road full time where his quirky and unique style of stand-up music and comedy drew huge fans from across the country. Pete eventually moved to Los Angeles in 2000. Today, over 8,500 comedy shows later, Pete George has been headlining Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, the House of Blues, and the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas. Christmas jazz concert

Stop in Perry Square to soak up the beautiful light while enjoying holiday jazz from local band Mambo. This event includes free carriage rides by May Farms that will tour the park. Guests can also have their photo taken by the tree for free.

Stars and Promises Christmas Tour with Peter Mayer

“Stars and Promises” brings its unique Christmas tradition to thousands of fans who have called this production, “a Christmas show like no other!” Peter Mayer is a singer, songwriter and guitarist set to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of his much-loved “Stars and Promises” Christmas tour. Mayer has released 25 of his own albums, toured internationally with his own band, and was lead guitarist in Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band for three decades.
